The HIGHWIRE Powerstar Camera Backbox from Veracity is a compact device designed to be mounted inside camera housings. It works with all HIGHWIRE Powerstar Base units (available separately) to deliver PoE/PoE+ power to an IP camera over legacy coax cabling. The camera unit receives PoE power from the base unit and transmits it to the camera. No external power cabling is required and all detection and setup occurs automatically. 200 Mb/s of total bandwidth is delivered at up to 1000′ for RG59 or 1600′ of RG11 coax. Connects and powers IP cameras over legacy coax cables. Plug-and-play operation. Compatible with all HIGHWIRE Powerstar Base units. Flexible leads for easy connection in small spaces. Provides long range extension over low-grade cabling like high-resistance copper-clad steel (CCS) types. SAFEVIEW power display indicates connection and power status. LED indicators for status. FCC, CE, and RoHS certified.
